The Emerald Society of Minnesota is an Apolitical Organization and We Do Not Support, Endorse, or Oppose any Political Party nor any Candidate(s) for Public Office.
The Emerald Society of Minnesota is a Non-Profit charitable association of Law Enforcement officials from the State of Minnesota and contributions can be Tax-Deductable under IRS section 501(c)(3) [Consult your Tax Advisor]. We raise funds to directly support the families of fallen Officers in the state, as well as, support a number of local Police and Irish Charities.
The Emerald Society is charged with supporting the MN Pipes and Drums - Law Enforcement Auxillary, who play free of charge at any Officer’s funeral who is killed in the line of duty in the state of Minnesota, regardless of membership.
We pride ourselves in being the largest charitable Law Enforcement organization in the state and salute our member's charity with several social events throughout the year. The Emerald Society offers several membership options, and EVERYONE is welcome to join; including friends, family, and supporters of Irish and Police causes.
The Emerald Society raises money to provide the Services of our pipe band free of charge at the funeral of all Law Enforcement officers, members or not, killed in the line of duty.
The ESM Charitable Group is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and as such, any contributions made to the organization are fully tax deductible.
All work done by the Emerald Society of Minnesota, the ESM Charitable Group, and these charities is done without financial compensation to any member.
In the past, our contributors have supported our efforts in a variety of ways including personal involvement, monetary donations, or gifts of supplies for auctions or raffles. We would be grateful for any assistance you can provide to help us continue our endeavors.
